Wat Pho (The Reclining Buddha Temple)

Wat Pho is located next to the Grand Palace. It was built in 1656 during Ayutthaya period that was before Bangkok was a capital. The temple was expanded and renovated by Rama I. It houses the most beautiful reclining buddah image in Thailand. The temple has been a center of Thai massage and a massage school.
